What shape are Barn Door Series clavos?

Barn Door Series clavos feature a square pyramid shape—a raised, four-sided point rather than the domed head used on our round series. It’s a bolder, more angular look suited to barn doors and gates.

What sizes are available?

Sizes range from 0.75" through 2", the same size range as our Artisan Series. The two can be mixed on the same project for a combination of round and square pyramid accents.

Is the Barn Door Series only for barn doors?

No—despite the name, the square pyramid shape works well on any project where a sharper, more geometric accent fits, including gates, cabinets, and furniture.

What finishes does the Barn Door Series come in?

The Barn Door Series comes in the same core finish range as our other clavos series: Black, Unfinished, Sealed Unfinished, Rusted, Sealed Rusted, and Oil Rubbed Bronze.

How is this different from the Forged Series, which is also square?

Barn Door Series clavos use a pyramid point, while the Forged Series uses a flatter square profile. They read differently up close—the pyramid catches more light and shadow.
