Warranty and Limitation of Liability

Borderland Rustic Hardware (BRH) is proud to stand behind the material and workmanship of our products. 

What Does This Warranty Cover?

This warranty covers any defects or malfunctions under normal use of your Borderland Rustic Hardware decorative hardware or nails that are finished with our black powder resistant coating.

How Long Does The Coverage Last?

We offer a (5) year warranty on all products finished in a black powder rust-resistant coating. This coating is designed for interior and exterior use and is truly rust-resistant. 

We offer other living finishes that will vary with time, touch, climate, etc. Because each product will be exposed to a variety of conditions dependent on use and location, we offer a (1) warranty on the following finishes:  

  • Unfinished
  • Sealed Unfinished
  • Rusted
  • Sealed Rusted
  • Oil Rubbed Bronze

When does the Warranty Start?

This warranty begins on the date of shipment. 

What Does This Warranty Cover/Not Cover?

We cover: 

  • Replacing defective products
  • The shipping costs of sending you a replacement. 

We can not cover the following under warranty:

  • The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs.
  • Any modifications to the decorative hardware, abuse, misuse or an act of nature (such as an earthquake, flood, tornado, etc).
  • Consequential and incidental damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
  • We do not cover any labor costs associated with sending your items to BRH or having the items re-installed.

How Do You Get Service?

If something goes wrong with your decorative hardware or nails please contact by phone, email, etc via our contact page. Please include photos if possible to help us understand the issue(s) that need to be addressed.

How Does State Law Apply?

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
